Parking in Oakland can be busy, so these structured options are the most reliable for visitors:

Soldiers & Sailors Parking Garage: Located at 4390 Bigelow Blvd, this is the closest and most recommended garage for theater-goers. It is an underground facility directly across Fifth Avenue from the theater.

Sennott Square Parking Garage: Located at 210 S. Bouquet St, this university-managed garage is about 0.3 miles away.

Forbes Semple Parking Garage: Located at 210 Meyran Ave, this city-managed garage often offers a flat $5 weekend rate and is roughly a 5-minute walk from the venue.

Street Parking: Metered parking is available on Forbes Avenue, S. Bellefield, and Fifth Avenue. Meters are typically free after 6:00 p.m. and all day on Sundays

We are honored to have you join us for this experience. To maintain an atmosphere of excellence, respect, and presence, we kindly ask that you observe the following:
Arrival & Late Seating
The performance will begin promptly at the scheduled time. To preserve the integrity of the production, late entry into the main seating area will not be permitted once the show has begun. Guests arriving after the start time may be seated in the balcony and welcomed into the main seating area during a scene transition.
Cell Phones & Electronic Devices
All devices must be silenced or turned off prior to the start of the performance. We encourage you to be fully present and engaged.
Photography & Recording
Photography, video, and audio recording are not permitted during the performance unless otherwise noted.
Respect for the Performance
Please refrain from talking or engaging in disruptive behavior. Every moment is intentional, and your attentiveness helps bring the experience to life.
Leaving During the Performance
If you need to exit, please do so quietly. Re-entry will be permitted during a scene transition at the discretion of theatre staff.
Historic Venue Notice
To protect the historic integrity of the Charity Randall Theatre, no food or drink (except bottled water) is permitted inside the auditorium. Please enjoy concessions in the lobby.
